WHAT IS SAFE GRAD?
Safe Grad is a fun and safe celebration planned and organized by the parents of the graduates, and is now
widely accepted as an integral part of graduation celebrations in nearly all Manitoba high schools. The
official slogan is “It’s your graduation…get home safe”.
More than just a party, Safe Grad is a commitment by parents to conduct a great, ‘once in a lifetime’ evening
for graduating seniors. It builds a spirit of togetherness among graduates as they celebrate this milestone
and a sense of community as everyone works to keep the graduates entertained and most importantly,
safe.
