 Is safe grad the same as graduation dinner and convocation?

No, there are three aspects to Grade 12 graduation: Convocation, Graduation Dinner, and Safe Grad. Graduation Dinner and Safe Grad happen on the same day. Graduation Dinner is organized by the Graduation Committee Student Group with support from teachers, and Safe Grad is organized by parent volunteers. Tickets are sold separately for each event. Convocation is organized by the school and happens on a different day. This is the event where grads wear a cap and gown and receive their diploma.
